Letting go

·

You have no idea what I just gave you.
For a moment it saddened me,
for you as well as for me,
that you did not want to have it.
I feel sorry for the one inside,
because you don’t want to know her.
And I felt sad for me
because you still don’t see my heart
and because you have no idea
what I did for you, back then and also now.
You don’t see me,
even though I am able to still see you
after everything that happened.

But then I heard His soft and loving voice,
telling me to let you go
to put my hand to the plough and not look back
to ‘forget’ what is behind and strain toward what is ahead

And I understood…

So I will heed His voice and go forward
and press on toward the goal to win the prize
for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus
(from Luke 9:62 and Phil. 3:14)

I can truly say that God has taken my suffering
and used it for something good.
Thank You my precious Lord, for this miracle.
Thank You for keeping me all those years,
and thank You for saving my tears.

I love You with all my heart.
Yours forever,
Carla
