You were our best ever friend, those are words you used. They never let you have much of a life. Locked away in the dark, you never went to school, never even knew how to spell your name. You always protected others as best you could, at great cost in pain to yourself, and you proved over and over your friendship for us by intervening so we would be spared.But they would not allow you to live. No one outside the gatherings knew you even existed, so hiding your disappearance from this earth was no problem. And they did what they could to make me/us forget, but some remembered, some would not forget, and now we all remember.Please forgive us for what they made us do to you, my dear friend.
