voices we hear
say what they want
yet for us it’s now to know that we never again
need to listen to their telling us what to do
never again will we have to go there
never again to feel that darkeness
never again to keep their secrets
never again to listen to them
we are free now
free to choose
free to will
free to feel
free to think
free to be
and this freedom
no-one can take from us ever again
our choices
our will
our feelings
our thoughts
our being
belong to us now
as we are living
in freedom
and it’s now yes to ourselves
it’s now no to those evil-lovers
so if those voices come
we will not have to listen
as they do not belong to us
and we belong now to ourselves
it’s time for our voices
to be heard again
as we live
in freedom
