The catarpillar had become a butterfly.
She went to see her friend, the frog,
who lived in the pool beneath the tree.
She wanted to show him how beautiful she had become
and to tell him how glad she was that she had changed
although it did feel a little bit uncomfortable to her.
But he said no, he didn’t know her
what did she want from him?
He couldn’t trust her and she’d lost
a precious friend.
